Artist Product Submission For Airplay Consideration Policy


PRE-RECORDED AUDIO MATERIAL SUBMISSION POLICY

In an effort to ensure the best service to all of our clients, the following guidelines must be followed for all audio submission:

1.    All audio materials (sermons, commercials, plugs, etc.) must be “performance ready” at the time of submission. (Any audio materials requiring extra preparation by WAAW, may incur production fees.)

2.    Audio materials must be submitted in one of the following formats: WAV, MP3, or WMA. (for proprietary formats – please consult with WAAW).

3.    Audio materials may be submitted on the following media: Audio CD, Data DVD, Flash Drives, Compact Flash Drives and other various memory cards.
a.    We recommend that you send files through “YOUSENDIT.COM .” 
i.    Sending your files by Yousendit will save on travel and the use of recorded media. 
ii.    Yousendit.com is the best way to transfer large audio files such as sermons across the internet. For more information on sending your files this way, please contact Pastor Lester Smalls.

4.    Audio recordings must not exceed the length of scheduled ‘air time.’
a.    If air time is 30 minutes, the product should not be less than 25 minutes and not to exceed 30 minutes. (including “intros” and “outros.”)

5.    Materials must be received by WAAW at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to airing time for weekday airing and at least 72 hours (3 days) for weekend (Saturday & Sunday) airing.
a.    WAAW Primary Programming Days are Mondays & Fridays.

•    WAAW is not responsible for the editing of any audio materials unless arrangements are made at the time of the agreement. (Additional charges may apply.)
•    WAAW is not responsible for the audio quality of audio submissions.
•    WAAW is not responsible for returning audio materials.
•    WAAW is not responsible for maintaining an archive of older files for replay. 
o    Client is responsible for providing the materials for airing. If client does not submit audio files in a timely manner, WAAW will usually rerun
•    WAAW is not responsible for acquiring or obtaining clients materials in a timely manner for airing. 
o    Client is fully responsible for ensuring that materials are received by WAAW production ready.
•    WAAW reserve and will exercise the right to refuse and or withdraw any materials from WAAW airways for the following reason:

o    Product fails the ‘Sound Doctrine’ test.
o    Product fails the moral and Spiritual decency test.
o    Poor audio and production quality.
o    Unresolved Station/Client disagreements.
